"Ned Kelly" release date for the US?
posted on Apr. 28, 2003  From FilmJerk.com: Already having seen release in Australia this past March, "Ned Kelly" is now set to open almost a year later in the U.S. March 19, 2004 is the new date. The film centers on the true story of Australian gunslinger and outlaw, Ned Kelly (1855-1880), and his Kelly Gang, famous for their many robberies from 1878-1880. Given that he died in 1880, guessing the crime spree didn’t turn out so well for Kelly; this film should have a better chance in the form of opening weekend box office receipts. I scanned in the nice picture from the April 25 issue (#706/707) of Entertainment Weekly. The issue is the Summer Movie Preview, and "Pirates of the Caribbean" gets its one-page feature on page 81.
